After booking their maternity photoshoot, Hung contacted the photographers with the idea of proposing during the shoot. He also made a wooden ring box to conceal the ring in his skinny jeans without looking obvious. During the shoot, the photographers suggested the belly kissing shot. Samantha was sceptical, as she felt like it was a super cheesy photo, but she went along with it. While on one knee, Hung kissed her belly and asked her to marry him.
